Escape the day to day hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Our no WiFi farm stay allows you to appreciate the little things in life. You can wake up and enjoy beautiful views from your windows and enjoy immersing yourself in a bit of rural living. The space Hollins Cottage is situated on a working farm, offering peace and tranquility as well as seeing some of the day to day life of farming. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including a oven, fridge freezer, washing machine & dishwasher. A living room, dining room, bathroom & 2 bedrooms with double beds. Plus an enclosed garden! Ennerdale has lots to offer, with plenty of opportunity to get outdoors and explore this wonderful area of the Lake District. Whether you are a keen fell walker or prefer something a bit more gentle, there is plenty to enjoy. Starling Dodd and Great Bourne are on our doorstep. Ennerdale Lake is also a short distance from the cottage. You can either walk, or simply drive and park at either of the two car parks the lake has to offer and enjoy a walk around there. A short walk down into the village, you will find two country pubs serving beautiful food and a good selection of drinks. There is also a community owned cafe called The Gather. This makes a perfect stop for a lighter bite making it a great place for breakfast or lunch. At The Gather you will find a small selection of gifts available to purchase that come from local businesses. Guest access Access to the whole of the cottage & a designated garden area. Machinery will be in use on the farm so we advise ensuring your pet is kept under control and within the safe parameters as we cannot accept any liability for any accidents that may occur.
