Situated between the mountains with no cellphone signal we offer you a unique experience to ease your mind and recharge your body and soul. You need to have a vehicle with a good high ground clearance to reach us. If you don’t have a high ground clearance vehicle we can arrange transport at an extra cost. The space The space is relaxing, calming and refreshing with a spectacular view of the mountains and most amazing stargazing at night. For those who love hiking, trail-running and mountain-biking, there are many paths and trails. If you prefer relaxing and unwinding, come and sit in the shade on the grass and read and swim and absorb the sights of the rock formations and sounds of the birds and bees. And last but not least for night-owls, there is spectacular star gazing. Most importantly, for everyone there is the resonating silence of nature and also lots of space to have a lovely time with your family and friends. We don’t have any Eskom electricity on the farm. We only have 2 Luxury Tented Camps, 2 Log Cabins and 4 Campsites. The tented camps can accommodate 4 people each (2 adults and 2 children). Each tent is equipped with good beds & linen, towels, vintage crockery and Cape furniture. There is a gas stove and fridge/freezer a fire pit and braai grid. Solar lighting and gas geyser for an indoor shower and and outside starlight bath. The log cabins can accommodate 2 people each with an option of setting up your own tent next to the cabin for teenagers or another couple. Each cabin is equipped with linen, towels and all the basic kitchen needs, a small fridge / freezer, crockery, cutlery, pot, pan, a 2 plate gas stove, a braai drum and braai grid. With its own private ablution facilities, toilet, hot water shower and solar lights. The campsite can accommodate up to 40 people – all depending on with what camping gear everybody is camping. Each campsite has its own ablution facilities with a shower and separate toilet. Each ablution has solar lights and hot water showers. The Leeurivier runs through the farm and the closest rock pools are approximately 300-400m from the campsite-cabins. Here are a few lovely swimming holes in the river for you to enjoy. We also offer catering services for group bookings. The closest Town is Op-Die-Berg 35km from us. PLEASE NOTE • We can only be reached with a high-ground clearance vehicle. • We offer a transfer service from the top of the mountain down into the valley and on the day of departure out again - at an extra cost – this benefit is only for the self catering units booking and NOT for the campsite bookings. • When making use of any sort of Trailer or Off-Road Caravan a 4×4 Vehicle is essential. • No electricity and no cell phone reception. • We do not allow any day visitors. • We require you to please take your trash with you on departure. • We require a breakage and trash refundable deposit of R1000 per booking at our self catering units. • A R500 per trash bag fine will be issued if you leave your trash at the campsite. • Please do not take any chances with your vehicle on any of our farm roads. There will be a recovery fee of R2000 (payable upfront) per Vehicle and/or Trailer / Off-Road Caravan. • Bring enough cash for your purchasers of wood, ice, dried fruit, homemade preservatives and fresh roosterkoeke. • We only welcome small dogs at our campsite. (No aggressive dogs are allowed and all dogs must be on a leash.) • Prices indicated on the campsites are minimum amount required per site for weekends, public holidays and school holidays. – Please contact us for an more accurate quotation. • We can accommodate more people per campsite than indicated all depends on with how many off-road caravans, trailers and or tents you are camping. • SORRY No dogs allowed at our self catering units.
