Visit the Cannon House, step back in time to the turn of the century in this Southern Georgian home. This Classic Revival home, set in the O’Neal historical district, is full of century old history. Situated amongst several magnolia and pecan trees, you can pick up your own home-ground pecans if they are in season or enjoy the blooming magnolias. This is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful evening out on the front porch, chat near the fireplaces, or admire the antiques that adorn the home. The space The Pecan Room is situated in the front of the home where at every view you’re able to get a glimpse of the century-old beautiful pecan trees. This room provides a flat screen tv, a decorative, non-functional fireplace and views of the other historic homes in the neighborhood. In addition to the views out the window, this room is next to the upstairs balcony where you can enjoy a relaxing evening out by the fire pit. This bedroom has access to the bathroom that’s shared with the Bay Room, right down the hall. Guest access Guests have access to all of the shared spaces downstairs in the home with the exception of the kitchen. This includes the living room, the sitting room, the dining room, the shared bathroom (upstairs), the balcony (upstairs), the front porch, the back patio, and all of the property’s yard space. This home will be occupied with other guests staying in the bedrooms, so the only access you will have to bedrooms would be the ones you’ve booked. Other things to note The fireplaces that you can access and are in use will be the ones downstairs in the shared spaces. The fireplaces in the room are decorative and non-functioning.
