KATY TRAIL Cottage - 3-bedroom in downtown Boonville - Close to the Katy Trail

Check out this charming 1920's Cottage on the Katy Trail in Boonville, Missouri! There’s something about an old home that modern construction rarely captures. You notice it on the front porch with wide steps leading up to a porch deep enough for a swing that gently creaks back and forth on quiet evenings. The porch wasn’t just decorative; it was designed for conversation, for watching the neighborhood pass by, for slowing life down a little. Inside, the first thing that usually hits you is the height. Tall ceilings make the space feel open in a way that today’s homes often miss. The walls are framed with tall baseboards and the door are solid wood, sometimes with glass knobs worn smooth from decades of hands turning them. The architecture is rarely cookie-cutter but keep in mind this home was built a hundred years ago. If you love the warmth and charm of an older home, this is the place to stay. You are only 3 blocks from the Boonville Katy Trail head with no major streets to cross, you are 4 blocks from Isle of Capri Casino, and you are only 1 block away from all of the antique shops, restaurants, and pubs in historic downtown. When you are not on the trail or out on the town, relax on the front porch swing sipping your drink of choice, or head out back to our firepit and conversation area complete with string lights. TV in the Living Room, King and Queen Bedroom with Roku so you can stream your favorite service provider.
