4 C's: Cozy Corner Canal Cottage

Come visit with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place to stay right on the water! With easy access to Saint Clair River, bring your boat and keep it at the house along the spacious sea-wall. Enjoy some of the nearby restaurants and the boardwalk park. We also have a public swimming pool, bait shop and liquor store within walking distance of the house! If relaxing is more your style, then kick back, BBQ, lounge on the backyard patio, and enjoy an evening sitting around the fire pit. The space Bedroom 1: King size bed, twin over full bunk bed, futon and chase lounge. This bedroom is spacious and has plenty of room for guests to sleep and relax with room darkening curtains and all linens, blankets and pillows provided. This is a perfect room for a group of friends or a family with kids. The room has its own private bathroom with shower amenities. Towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer are all available. The bedroom also has closet storage space and a full dresser available if you prefer to unpack and feel at home. Each side of the king bed has a nightstand and lamp and there are plenty of plugs for charging phones and devices. Bedroom 2: This newly carpeted bedroom has one queen bed with linens, pillows and blankets, room darkening curtains, plenty of closet space, and a full-size dresser if you would like to unpack and feel at home. The bedroom also has nightstands on each side of the bed and access to the bed from both sides so nobody has to crawl over the bed to get to their side! This bedroom has access to a full bathroom which has a bathtub and shower stocked with all the soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels, and washcloths you would need. To help you feel more comfortable there is also a cozy bench at the end of the bed so you can sit while you get yourself ready for the day. Living room 1: This newly carpeted living room has a couch, a love-seat, and a chair to sit and unwind at the end of the day. There is a 55 inch mounted, smart TV with access to your streaming accounts such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu... When you enter the home from the front, covered porch, you can walk into the living room, hang your keys on the hooks, and your coat in the closet, just like home. Kick your feet up on the coffee table or the ottoman and read or watch your favorite show. Living Room 2: This beautiful, sun-filled, newly carpeted room is the perfect place to relax. The couch can become a comfy queen size bed and the windows all have room darkening curtains if the extra sleeping space is needed. The glass door connecting the two living rooms also has a cordless shade that can be used for privacy. This room has an additional smart TV, an electric fireplace that can be used for the ambiance of the flames or to produce additional heat. There is a pub-style high top table and stools to sit at and do work or play some of the games that are included for your use. Kitchen: BRAND NEW kitchen! Fully renovated and plenty of beautiful quartz countertop space, a big, open sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, gas oven and stove top, refrigerator and freezer. Gather around the big table perfect for friendly gatherings, game nights, or family dinners. The coffee bar is stocked with k-cups, coffee filters, and ground coffee as well as teas and French vanilla creamers. The floors and cabinets in the kitchen are also brand new and super clean! There are dishes, silverware, pots and pans, utensils, spices, glasses and stemware, as well as cookie sheets and muffin tins, a blender, hand mixer, air fryer, toaster, microwave... all ready for you to use! Laundry Room: The laundry room is available for you to toss in a load of laundry if you need to during your stay. We will provide and few laundry soap sheets and dryer sheets for your convenience. This room also has hooks for you to hang your coats, swimsuits or towels after coming in from a day out on the boat. There is also a large utility sink for your use in the laundry room. The laundry room also has a door to access the back yard and seawall area. Front porch: The front of the house has a porch with patio furniture for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful morning sunrises. Seawall: The cottage is on a corner canal with over 180 feet of steel seawall. There is plenty of space to dock multiple boats. The canal is over 38 feet wide. We are about 500 feet off the main river which provides protection from wakes. Driveway: There is enough space in the driveway for two trucks and trailers. Additional trailer parking can be done in town with a pass available from the city. Guest access Prior to arrival you will receive a message about the door code you will be able to use for both the front and back doors digital keypads. You will have access to all rooms of the house with exception to the attic and crawl space. There is a garage on property, but that will remain locked for private owner use only. Other things to note The exterior of the house is well-lit for your safety. We have also installed security cameras on the perimeter of the exterior of the house and property for both your safety and ours.
