Welcome :) We offer you a beautiful and private treetop cedar studio space with a private entrance. Enjoy the huge and unique Southeast treetops (Douglas Fir, Chestnut, Cedar, Apple, etc.) from your own private balcony with greenery and a bistro table. The sunsets here are delightful! Whether you're traveling or looking for a spot to land for your staycation, you've found it. The space Please make use of the kitchenette with an induction cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator w/ freezer, coffeemaker, electric kettle, and dinnerware; or skip it all and enjoy the wonderful restaurants that we have available within walking distance from the home. The studio has great stone heated floors that are suuupppeerrr cozy during the winter months and there is additional adjustable in wall heating to keep you toasty warm should it be necessary. Skylights on either end of the studio open to allow a nice cross breeze and the space has been adapted for a portable air conditioning unit to be activated should temperatures get too hot. There is a cute spiral staircase that is the only access point for the studio, so you must be comfortable going up stairs to stay with us. If you do have work to do, we have included a charming built-in desk so that you can be comfortable. We are both triple vaxxed, but still keep our precautions. When the studio is cleaned it is sanitized and a HEPA filter is run between all stays. For your safety as well as ours all we ask from you is that we wear masks if we are to interact in person. Guest access We have a very diverse native garden, patio, and greenhouse on the property with loads of visiting birds that can be enjoyed throughout the year as we ourselves are avid gardeners. We are happy to offer a washing and drying service for guests. There is a charge of $7 per load for this additional service. As the laundry is in the primary residence, which is not accessible to guests, we will supply a basket and wash your clothes for you. Other things to note The stone patio leading up to the studio is very beautiful, but can be uneven in places, which is why we have added lots of motion sensor lights to make navigating the walkway and any steps as easy and safe as possible for everyone.
