The space This beautiful and newly renovated space provides comfort and convenience, after a day of Adirondack exploration. Cuddle up in front of the fireplace after a long day of skiing at one of the many surrounding mountains - Gore, West Mtn., Whiteface, Oak Mtn., - or enjoy an early summer morning cup of coffee on the screened-in front porch. The interior, open-layout welcomes an atmosphere for entertaining, and for families to gather and make memories. With an assortment of games for all ages to enjoy, you're guaranteed to unwind and connect. After a long summer day, break out the s'mores around the outdoor firepit before retreating to each cozy bedroom to recharge for another day of ADK adventure. Guest access Guests of the Lodge have access to the entire home as well as the surrounding outdoor property. Located within the home are 2 supply closets, and an outdoor shed - all of which are locked for guest safety, and accessible only to homeowners and contracted workers. Other things to note Each season boasts its own array of lake-centered activities. In the summer, indulge in the sandy public beach, swim in pristine ADK waters, partake in boating and fishing, and gather around our fire pit beneath the most crystal clear, starry skies that you will ever experience! Explore local attractions such as flea markets, farmer's markets, summer concerts, and park square dances. Come winter, experience ice fishing, skating, serene walks on the frozen lake, skiing, or snowmobiling. Seeking relaxation? Cozy up by the fireplace with a good book or a favorite show, or head up to the loft for classic games. A mere 2 miles away lies the town center, catering to all your Adirondack vacation needs with its assortment of bars, restaurants, gift shops, cafes, and the infamous Towne Store. Conveniently accessible are skiing, snowboarding, hiking, golf, tennis, snowmobiling, boating, kayaking, antiquing, and much more. While a car is necessary to explore the entire area, our home is just a short distance from Main Street, offering abundant choices for your enjoyment. The Lodge is under a half hour to Lake George and Gore Mountain, and under an hour to Lake Placid. Nearby you’ll also find FREE hills 15 min. distance with tow rope for skiing and snowboarding - great for beginners, or West Mountain - 40 min. distance. In surrounding small towns, you will find other hidden gems. This area is a home for adventurers, and "relaxers" alike, offering many of your favorite winter and summer sports and activities.
