Step back in time and get lost in the oldest mansion in Portsmouth. The Eli Kinney House is a 200 year old home adorned with stained glass, gorgeous antique furniture, 14 foot ceilings, and history galore! If you are a historian or a musician, you won't want to leave. Centrally located in heart of the Boneyfiddle district, restaurants, antique shops, and night life are all within walking distance. This Greek Revival Home boasts 12k square feet of historic exploration. The space The property is actually four floors and 12,000 ft.². The basement has a pool table a television a bar and is a nice place to hang out in the winter especially. The first floor contains a formal living room, parlor dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. The second floor includes the master bedroom and master bath, the music room and the outdoor terrace. The attic has two bedrooms, a Jacuzzi, washer and dryer, and a kitchenette. please note that the steps going to the attic or somewhat steep, as in most historical homes. Guest access All of the first floor except the very back area where the double doors are shut. That’s a garage area are available for you to use. There is another room used for storage off the formal living room that is blocked off. On the first floor, you have access to the parlor, the formal living room, the dining room, the kitchen and the bathroom. The basement is available for leisure time there is a pool table, a television couch and chair and it’s very warm down there in the winter. There’s also a bar that was utilized often in the 1930s and 20s during prohibition. On the second floor, the music room and the terrace are available. The music room includes microphones a soundboard speakers, drums, a few different instruments. It’s a large room with three fireplaces and very unique. The Terrace is just off the music room on the roof and overlook the skyline, the bridge, and many beautiful historic buildings. There is a fireplace with wood provided outside a comfortable sectional couch and a really nice swim spa hot tub. We also provide Bluetooth speakers to use while enjoying a nice soak. Other things to note We will be running out two different areas in our house depending on the guest needs if you are renting the master bedroom, which is only available two days a week the attic will be off-limits. If you are staying in the attic, the master bedroom suite is off limits. Both the attic and the master bedroom have access to a bathroom . The attic suite has a Jacuzzi tub and a small kitchenette. The master bedroom includes the full kitchen. It is best for a couple couples looking for a romantic stay.
