The space Enjoy this modern, newly-built 3800 sq foot timber frame home nestled on over three (3) acres of woods on Dog lake. The upper level features a stunning great room with 17-foot ceilings, impressive post & beam architecture, and hardwood floors. Walk out to the deck and covered porch. The lower level features heated polished concrete floors and a walk-out to the patio, yard, woods, hot tub, and lake. The entire home offers comforts like central AC/heating, modern plumbing with plenty of sinks and 4.5 washrooms, and fast, reliable internet (Starlink). The space accommodates 10 people very comfortably with five bedrooms (three queen beds and two king beds). We can accommodate up to 14 people (two twin cots available). Guest access The house is located about one kilometre from public roads, along a picturesque private gravel road that winds through fields and woods. Please exercise caution on the private road, especially during and after storms when you might encounter large puddles or low branches. During winter, snow may fall and ice may form on the private road. The road will be plowed but we highly recommend having snow tires. Thanks in advance for sharing the road courteously with our neighbours. Other things to note Here are the amenities we provide. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. LINENS: All beds will be made with fresh-laundered linens. Each bed has a duvet, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and four pillows with pillowcases. TOWELS: Freshly-laundered bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and beach towels are provided. BATHROOMS: Toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. KITCHEN: The kitchen and pantry are stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, bowls, glasses, plates, cups, and everything else you need to cook and serve. You will also find essential condiments, salt/pepper/sugar/spices, and oil/vinegar in the kitchen and pantry. Tea towels, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent are provided. COFFEE BAR: The coffee bar is equipped with a 12-cup coffee maker, Breville Bambino espresso machine, electric kettle, ground coffee, coffee filters, ground espresso, sugar (white and raw), tea (including herbal), and honey. FRIDGES: There are four fridges in the house - a main fridge in the kitchen with freezer drawer, a pantry fridge with freezer drawer, a half-fridge with lower freezer in the lower level, and a counter-height beverage fridge in the living room. Ice is available in the freezer drawers of the kitchen and pantry fridges. BBQ: Five-burner Napoleon Propane BBQ (625 sq inches grilling space), grill utensils, and a non-metallic brush are at your disposal. WATER: Tap water is from a well and is potable (drinkable) but you may prefer the taste of bottled water. Bottled water is supplied for you in the pantry fridge, and the lower level fridge. A filtered water tap can also be found inside the pantry fridge on the left wall. FIREWOOD: For each night of your stay, we provide one bag of firewood (3-4 hours of burn time) and fire starters. NOTE ON NUMBER OF GUESTS PER BOOKING: We can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably as we have five bedrooms (three king beds and 2 queen beds), and can accommodate up to 14 guests. Guests booking 10 or fewer guests may book any number of nights, the minimum being 4 nights. Guests booking 11 to 14 guests are restricted to 7 - 10 nights. In either case, you must book the exact number of guests that will be at the lakehouse. Thank you.
