The Unity Wagon • A Handcrafted Retreat Stay

Stay inside a handcrafted Unity Wagon—a one-of-a-kind, mobile retreat designed for rest, creativity, and connection with nature. This luminous, art-filled space blends the feeling of a tiny home, a cabin, and a moving piece of art. Wake with the light, fall asleep under the stars, and experience a slower, more intentional way of being. Created by world recognized artist and environmentalist, Steve Areen, his art focuses on eco-friendly, mindfully sourced and affordable materials. The space Set within peaceful natural surroundings, guests stay on one of our private host properties depending on availability and season: • A five-acre pond setting with open skies and easy highway access • One of several secluded and wooded riverside properties, ideal for relaxation and nature immersion. Both locations offer privacy, outdoor space, and a unique stay experience. Final placement is confirmed prior to arrival to ensure the best guest experience. There is an up charge for the Riverside locations to cover transportation and set-up costs. Guest access You have access to the entire space as well as the surrounding natural areas, which may include a peaceful flowing river, pond, nature trails and more. Other things to note For guests interested in a more immersive experience, we’re happy to help curate a personalized retreat stay based on availability. This may include farm-to-table meals, private wellness offerings such as yoga or massage, and thoughtfully designed itineraries highlighting local farms, nature spaces, and special places to explore in the region. These offerings are optional and arranged through direct, one-on-one communication prior to or after booking. Whether you’re looking to create your own Ohio eco-tour retreat, connect with local farmers and wellness practitioners, or simply add a few meaningful touches to your stay, we’re glad to collaborate in a way that feels supportive and well-matched to your vision.
