Purple Room in Interlaken at Christy's Place

Our home is situated in the center of the Finger Lakes, between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes of New York. Our house was built in 1812 with many additions over the years, eventually giving it an old Victorian feel. We have spent the last 11 years renovating all 16 rooms, including 2 new bathrooms with a jacuzzi tub, an Art Studio and gift shop. The house is surrounded by a beautiful wrap around porch with extensive flower gardens and a covered summer patio. We have 2 upstairs rooms for guests to rent. The space Our home is surrounded in extensive flower, fruit, and veggie gardens and everyone is welcome to wander around. There is a patio out back to sit and relax, along with several tree swings under our big maple. The covered front porch provides a lovely, shady area to relax as well. We recently added more parking behind the house, so there is the option to park off the road, but the street parking in front of the house is more convenient for guests. Guest access Most of our house is open to guests. We do live here, so please be respectful of that, and definitely don't go in any of the closed bedrooms. The front entrance is my Gift Shop for my Art Studio and is the guest entrance with direct access to the stairway up to the bedrooms. The dining room is always available for guests and there are hot drinks and ice provided there. We have a small, white fridge on the back porch/mud room for guests to use. The front and back entrances can both be used. You can also use the microwave in the kitchen or speak with us about more use of the kitchen. I typically hang around during breakfast to chat with guests and answer any questions as well. Other things to note Please note that we DO have kitties. We keep them out of the guest rooms, but they do live in the whole rest of the house. We keep everything very clean, but if you have allergies, it might not be a good fit for you.
