Day 1: Arrival & Relaxation Check-in at Olive Luxury Suites and settle into your elegant suite. Take a refreshing dip in your private pool or unwind in the Jacuzzi bathtub. Enjoy a BBQ dinner on your terrace with fresh, local meat from nearby markets. End your evening with a relaxing swim in your private pool – even more delightful if you have opted for the heated pool. Day 2: Explore Kamilari & Matala Beach Start your day with a traditional Cretan breakfast at a local café. Walk through Kamilari Village, admiring its charming streets and local shops. Visit the archaeological site of Phaistos, one of Crete’s most significant Minoan palaces. Spend the afternoon at Matala Beach, famous for its hippie caves and golden sand. Have dinner at a seafront taverna in Kalamaki, enjoying fresh seafood with a breathtaking view of the sunset. Other things to note Heater in the swimming pools (optional) You can use the heater of your swimming pool from 08:00 to 23:00 up to 27°C and the additional cost is 30€ per night. Pool Heating Policy To ensure the best experience for our guests, pool heating must be requested in advance and cannot be arranged upon arrival. Guests who choose this option are accommodated in suites with a pre-heated swimming pool, as the heating process requires 1-3 days and for this reason, the heating fee covers all nights of your stay duration. For transparency, the heating system consumes up to 100 kW per day, and the fee we charge just reflects the actual cost of electricity - usually other properties charging 60-80€ per night for a heated pool. Pool Heating Information Our heated pool maintains a temperature of up to 27°C, providing a comfortable and refreshing swim. However, it's important to note that 27°C in a large pool feels cooler than the water temperature of a shower (typically around 38°C). This difference is due to the pool’s open environment and the natural cooling effect of the water. While 27°C is considered a pleasant and warm temperature for swimming, the sensation may still feel cool, especially during colder weather or in the evening. We want to ensure your comfort and understanding before booking the pool heating option.
