This peaceful sanctuary is just a short walk to Lake Michigan & minutes to Warren Dunes, MI Wine & Brewery Trail, New Buffalo and much more, yet somehow you'll feel like you're away from it all! The uniquely-designed, modern, single-story home sits on an acre of professionally landscaped land surrounded by beautiful woods. Here the main "neighbors" you'll see are deer, chipmunks and the occasional red fox! The house has something for everyone - pool, hot tub, Weber grill, smoker, fire place, fire pit, and more! Pick your passion and we've got something for you - - Love cooking? Our gourmet kitchen with double ovens, an abundance of cooking supplies and even a grill & smoker are all at your disposal! - Want a wine-tasting weekend with the girls?...Our home is literally ON the Wine Trail! - Avid cyclist?...Some of the best bike trails in SW Michigan are just outside our door! - Outdoorsy?...Ample hiking, biking, sailing, golf, swimming, camping, kayaking and even surfing are minutes from our home! - Triathlete or endurance athlete?...From our home you'll never even have to get in your car to swim, bike or run amid the natural beauty of SW Michigan! - Hunter or fisherman/woman?...You'll find prime hunting & fishing nearby! - Antiquing Fanatic?...We are on "Antique Row" with literally dozens of antique shops within a short walk or drive! - Just want to get away with the family, play board games and relax?...We've got over a dozen board games, toys for the kids, a 65" premium flat screen TV & sound bar (and of course pool & hot tub!*) for your enjoyment! - Traveling with someone who needs a single-story home?...You can access EVERY door in our home without taking a step! *Please note that heated pool is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and hot tub is open 365. Please contact host for more details Guest access You’re welcome to enjoy the home and outdoor spaces, including the front yard, pool deck, backyard, and fenced dog area. The white cottage next door is a separate residence, so we ask that guests respect that space and its parking spaces during their stay. Other things to note Please be aware of a few important notes: - We offer a wide range of baby and elder-care equipment rentals for families traveling with those in need of special accommodations. Baby gear includes full-size cribs, high chairs, baby gates, pack & plays, excersaucers, baby tubs and a huge array of age-appropriate toys. Elder-care equipment includes rollators, walkers, portable wheel chairs, portable toilets. All are professionally cleaned & sanitized attendants and exterminators so you may see these individuals on the property during daytime hours. They will never have access to the interior during your stay - This home is in the woods. Spiders & ants happen! We have the entire property (interior & exterior and including lawn) treated for mosquitoes, ticks, and ants every 2 weeks by Orkin using pet-safe insecticides. But ants love little crumbs left by little hands and spiders love ants, so..... you get the idea. :) Please practice patience & tolerance if possible but definitely let us know about any pest issues that arise! - the yard is not fenced and Red Arrow Highway is not THAT far away, so please keep dogs leashed when not inside the pet enclosure
