Jerry Anderson’s Butterscotch Castle poses as an ostentatious mini-mansion, but is really a cozy 1900’s farmhouse. Perfect for families & friends who want to share time in a private, natural setting. House is located close to hiking trails & scenic lookouts, Giant City Park, restaurants, wineries, unique shops & music venues. Ideal space to spread out with others or have time in solitude. The wrap around porch is a perfect place for morning coffee and conversation. The space Guests will enjoy the wrap around porch, allowing outside sitting even when it’s raining. The expanse of grass, gardens, and wandering trails provide a perfect setting for all ages. Guests are welcome to pick seasonal items from the garden when available. The Butterscotch Castle has hosted many gatherings and small events. Let us know if you’d like to host something. We can discuss the added fee. Guest access Guests have full use of the main floor including the grand piano. Full kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room, large living room and sunroom with pull out couch are all yours to use. The extra large bedroom on the main floor has two queen size beds with a private bathroom. A second bathroom on the main floor has a tub. A fold out sofa in the sunroom accommodates two more people if needed. The second floor of the house is currently not in use. Other things to note This beautiful 1901 Victorian style home has only had four owners. The most recent owner and friends created the Butterscotch Castle as a place of gathering and community. So many special touches. The upstairs may eventually be opened up but is currently not in use. For now, it’s guests only on the main floor - you have the whole place to yourselves!The main floor bedroom is quite large, with two comfy new queen beds. The fold out sofa in the sunroom accommodates kids or extra guests. The house itself is very spacious.
