Enjoy beautiful sunsets and ocean views from this 2 story A frame on the cliffs of Gregory Town. The space This 2 story A frame provides the perfect retreat while located just a mile south of Gregory Town's center. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets that melt into the sea and wake up to beautiful ocean views without even getting out of bed! Downstairs, you'll find an open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a living space. The kitchen features concrete countertops including a large peninsula with 4 bar stools. Double sliding doors lead out from the dining and living areas to an oceanfront deck with comfy outdoor furniture. The pergola with sun shade and curtains allow you to enjoy the outdoor space even on the sunniest of days. A wooden spiral staircase at the back of the house leads upstairs to the bedroom and bathroom. (The outdoor staircase was designed to save space in the interior.) As you enter the second floor, there is a closet on your left and a bathroom with a walk-in shower on the right. The short hallway entrance opens up into the bedroom space with a king sized bed. The sliding door on the wall facing the sea provides amazing views and lets you fall asleep to sounds of the ocean below. The house does have air conditioning for those hot Bahamian days, or you also have the option of screen doors and ceiling fans when it's a little cooler out. Our entire property is solar powered, so when it comes to electricity, we are completely off-grid. We ask that you please conserve energy whenever possible by making sure to turn off all inside lights, fans and air conditioning each time you leave. The house is connected to city water, but for those days when the city water may go out, we'll always have a full water tank on reserve for our guests. Our property consists of just under 5 acres of land stretching from The Queen's Highway to the cliffs overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of Exuma Sound. While bush, cactus, palmettos, and rocks line most of the cliff's edge, there is no actual fence or wall. There is an 80 foot straight drop from the cliff to the ocean below. For this reason, children under 16 will not be permitted on the property. Primary renters must be at least 25 years of age. Because of our clifftop location, there is no direct access to the water from our property. The famous Surfer's Beach is the closest beach to the house, located just under 2 miles south. Gaulding Cay Beach is about 3.5 miles north. From our property, it's about a 25 minute drive north to the North Eleuthera Airport, and it's about a 30 minute drive south to Governor's Harbour Airport. *Primary renter must be at least 25 years old. *Children of primary renters are allowed, but must be at least 16 years old. *Rental car is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for our location. *Out of respect for our neighbors and other guests, drone usage is not permitted on the property. Guest access There are 2 separate A frame houses on the property. Each are available to rent on their own, or you can rent both out together. To inquire about booking options, just send me a message!
