Cozy, historic cabin nestled in the woods. Enjoy the natural serenity of the forest, abundant wildlife, tall trees, seasonal pond, and fresh air. Just 10 min from town, enjoy the beauty of rural Southern Oregon w/convenience. A short drive from the Oregon Caves National Monument, S. Oregon Wineries, N. Cali Redwoods, & the Pacific Coast. Guests have access to the entire cabin + forest, private patios, & dog friendly fenced yard. Enjoy the convenience of the hostess nearby, with ample privacy. The space The forest retreat was first built in 1925 as one of the last homesteads granted in Josephine County. While we’ve renovated for modern convenience, we’ve retained as much original charm as possible. The cabin boasts 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed, one with 2 twin beds (can be pushed together) and a rear private living room with a full size hide-a-bed and an additional XL Twin bed. Fiber internet is available to guests as well as Smart TVs in the bedrooms and the rear living room. The cabin is designed for rest, reconnection, and simple pleasures - and yes, Pets are welcome! Guest access The entire cabin and property are available to guests, including a fenced, dog friendly yard and an entire rare mountain fen to explore!
