Northern Solace Dome Retreat

Escape reconnect with nature at The Northern Stillness Dome. A unique open concept living space (bedrooms are not private) tucked into the scenic Loring region of Northern Ontario. The back of the dome is surrounded by lush greenery and the front faces a highway. Property is just 4 - 6 minutes from countless lakes. This area is a perfect place to slow down, explore nearby lakes, paddle through quiet waters, or cast a line. Port Loring offers canoe rentals, paddle boards & fishing opportunities. The space The Dome is an open concept so bedrooms are not private. Also we have a composting toilet as there is no septic on the property. The property faces a highway and cars driving by can be heard so if you are very sensitive to noise this may not be the place for you as the dome walls are thin. Guest access The Stillness Dome, patio and Barbecue are your haven to enjoy! Other things to note Please remember the dome is an open concept with no privacy for sleeping spaces. The toilet is a composting toilet rather than a conventional toilet. Also there is some noise to be heard from the highway from cars driving as the walls of the dome are pretty thin so if you have trouble sleeping without a perfectly quiet space this may not be for you.
