Upstairs, the cabin is a cozy space surrounded by natural wood and comfortable furnishings with a lofted bed. Enjoy the sunroom with large windows offering nothing but nature (and a passing barge) for as far as the eye can see. Downstairs, relax in the living area and dining room with a smart TV, having a wall of glass sliding doors always pulling your attention to the passing river. Down the hall is a full bathroom, washer and dryer, a large bedroom with king-size bed, and a separate bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed. Step onto the expansive patio and deck, where you can lounge in zero-gravity chairs while lunch is prepared on the barbecue grill. The land is ample and cleared with games provided, you can toss a disc at the basket, sway in the hammock grove, gather around the fire pit, or head to the river’s edge for fishing and fossil hunting. There’s something here for guests of all ages and interests. The cabin is conveniently located just outside historic New Richmond, Ohio. It’s only 25 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, 15 minutes from Riverbend Music Center and Belterra Horse Track, and just 5 minutes to New Richmond’s restaurants, shops, and dairy bar. Heading east, you’re just 2 minutes from Ulysses S. Grant’s birthplace and other historic sites, and only 20 minutes from the Augusta Ferry—where for just five dollars, you can ferry your car across the river to Augusta, KY, and visit their restaurants and highly rated distillery. Guest access Enjoy all 4 acres, river access, and the entire property as if it were your own. Other things to note The conditions of the riverbank are always subject to change. The home is out of any typical flood zones but please use caution when accessing the river. The indoor wood burning fireplace is not operational. Decorative and aromatic wood may be present but please do not burn.
