Lake Geneva Cottage in town Keystone Heights

Enjoy the laid-back lake life in this rustic lakeside cottage. Located in the city limits of Keystone Heights, an easy one-mile walk along sidewalks to downtown. Enjoy hiking trails right out the back door along Lake Geneva, or lounge in the large, oak-tree-shaded backyard. This is a comfy cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, walk-in closet, lots of windows, wireless internet, and an HDMI-ready TV. The space This cottage is down in the backyard from the owner's house. It is secluded and offers privacy from the residents of that house. Once you step into the front door, you'll be in the kitchen area. It joins the open space floor plan, which includes the living/dining areas. One step down from the living area leads to the walk-in closet and main bedroom. Guest access While staying at the cottage, you will have access to the large yard and may explore the lake shore and the trails leading to the adjoining forest area. Water access may not be possible due to the receding lake levels of recent years. Other things to note We try to maintain a dark backyard for the benefit of animals, plants, and stargazing humans. The world and everything in it need a break from harsh and obtrusive bright lighting. As such, please be prepared to use your phone or a flashlight for areas that the street light may not illuminate at night. About those stars: the skies looking to the east over Lake Geneva offer spectacular views of the full moon rising, the morning sunrise, and a beautiful vista day and night.
