Welcome to White Oaks, a four-season luxury retreat nestled amongst the trees on a 4-acre lot on the Quyon River. Conveniently located just a 2 min drive from the Quyon Ferry and 45 min from downtown Ottawa, this cottage provides a peaceful getaway for onsite enjoyment or day excursions around the region. Featuring original artwork by Canadian artists, the cottage is tastefully decorated with original furniture made from local trees and crafted by your host with the help of a local carpenter. The space This unique property is a two minute drive from a large network of quad trails, as well as skidoo trails. A five minute walk takes you to my second property on the Quyon falls, where you can swim and kayak, if you so please. There are several rafting opportunities just up Hwy 148, and the Chutes du Coulonge, a bit further up. Going east, there is the Gatineau Park, where there are activities all year round. Guest access The entire cottage is available to guests, with the single-car garage on the lower level reserved for your host. Entry to the garage is locked from the inside of the garage. Other things to note Please contact me before you do anything you're not sure should be done - like putting charcoal into the propane BBQ - or if something is missing or needs repair.
