Large new terraces not shown in the pictures! Improved views! New outside furniture! New comfortable dining chairs! The cabin has a livingroom, a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms with doublebeds and bunkbeds above, bathroom with wc, an extra wc, washingroom, heated floors, a large soapstone fireplace, and external woodfired sauna. The area is quiet. Our lot was chosen very early, and we believe it has one of the best locations, with privat, undisturbed terraces overlooking the valley. The space TimberCabin offer peace and tranquility 3 kilometers and 200 meters above Svarstad village in Lardal. Svarstad lies only 45-60 minutes from several small/medium size cities like Tønsberg, Sandefjord, Larvik, Porsgrunn, Kongsberg, og Oslo. In the area there are more than 200 fishingwaters, a river with salmon, hiking tracks, skitracks (cross country), and great bicycling opportunities on gravel and tarmac. Within 30-60 minutes you will find several nice golfcourses, and only a 10 minutes drive from the cabin lies Scandinavias largest climbing park, Høyt og Lavt Vestfold. There are alpine skiing possibilities 10 minutes and 45 minutes away. It has terraces facing east, south and west 15 meters below the cabin we have our own finnish wood fired sauna which we really recommend! Heat it to 50-60 degrees celsius, keep the humidity at 50% or higher, and feel the stress "evaporate"! You want an endorphine kick?! Try jumping in the snow, roll around, and then run inside to feel the blood return to your skin! So the cabin offers plenty of things to do and see if you would like to move around a bit. And for the days when you just want to relax, well, it really is the perfect place! Guest access You are our valued guests and we want you to enjoy your stay as much as possible! The cabin has primarily been decorated and equipped for ourselves (but no family pictures and stuff), so it really has everything. It will give you a very different feeling from renting a property with simple croceries and 3 winglasses.... You will have access to all parts of the cabin except a few drawers, and a couple of cabinets which are marked like this: Privat :) Other things to note We have made a folder with lots of useful information, you'll find this inside. In Norway you can obviously drink tapwater with no worries. The closest "Vinmonopolet" (meaning Winemonopoly) is appr 30 mins drive to Andebu. We suggest buying wine at the airport. Beer can be bougt at supermarkets. Smoking is not allowed. There is an extra refrigerator in the "red bedroom". The beds are comfortable, but some are medium, and some firm, so you might want to bear that in mind when choosing bedrooms. The Internet is 4G based, so it's not unlimited. Normally you'll receive 10 GB, and that covers a movie or two, but not many. It works for news, social media and so on though. If you like playing dart, we have a Winmau dart board at the cabin, chalk, and some arrows. We have chess, backgammon, and several other games, and some english books as well.
