There is a sliding glass door in the living area that leads to a shared patio with the guest house. This is where there is a fire pit to enjoy or a grill to use. You may run into other renters if you use this patio. The back patio with hot tub is only used by you. You also have the patio you enter in for private use, with the guest house renters passing by to the driveway on occasion, if it is rented. It truly feels detached from the guest house with the way it is laid out.
