As such, the natural area and walking trails leading to the shoreline cannot be maintained, altered, or improved by the homeowner or management. These trails remain in their natural state and may be uneven or rustic. That said, they offer a short walk to beautiful lake views and excellent shoreline fishing directly behind the home. Guests who enjoy nature, light hiking, and shoreline fishing will find this a special feature. We simply ask guests to use the trails at their own discretion and wear appropriate footwear. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire home and surrounding acreage during their stay. This includes all indoor living spaces, the expansive covered deck, outdoor fire-pit area, and yard. Private dock access is included with your reservation and is located a short distance from the home (off-property). Dock access is reserved exclusively for guests and is ideal for boating and fishing on Lake Texoma. Clear instructions for dock access will be provided prior to arrival. Other things to note The home comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests; occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Private dock access is included with the stay; the dock is located off-property and detailed access instructions will be provided before arrival. This is a peaceful, rural setting — guests are asked to be respectful of neighbors and observe quiet hours. Outdoor areas, including the fire pit and dock, are used at guests’ own discretion. We do provide a Storm Shelter that guests can access in case of bad weather. The Army Corp Of Engineers own the land behind the house. The trails leading to the amazing views and incredible fishing are maintained by them. We are not able to maintain the trails and could be overgrown at times. Please know your capabilities and wear proper shoes.
