Nestled between two mountain ranges, Wyoming Range and Wind River Mountains, the area offers beautiful vistas and unlimited outdoor adventure. Ideal snowmobiling basecamp. Only two miles to Daniel Junction where WY State Hwy 354 begins toward Horse Creek and Beaver Creeks drainages, offering excellent snowmobiling adventures. Just seven miles east on US Hwy 191 to Cora Junction to travel on WY State Hwy 352 toward Upper Green River Valley for more snowmobiling opportunities. Contact host for on-premises truck/trailer parking information. Skiing choices galore. White Pine is ten miles out of Pinedale. That makes it a 40 minute drive from the Daniel Bunkhouse. According to Jackson Hole Net website: “White Pine’s 25 trails are a good choice for skiers and snowboarders who are looking for quiet slopes and a fun winter getaway! There is a maze of cross-country trails and beautiful views of the Wind River Range.” Jackson Hole being only an hour and twenty minutes away, a day trip for skiing in one of the three options nearby is easily done. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is twelve miles out in Teton Village. Snow King Mountain is right in downtown Jackson. Grand Targhee is 45 miles out of Jackson in Alta, WY. Twenty minute drive to Pinedale offers access to grocery store, pharmacy, hardware stores, medical clinic, gas stations, auto parts stores, USDA Forest Service offices, Bureau of Land Management offices, Wyoming Game and Fish Regional Office, and Sublette County Chamber of Commerce.
