While the dome is set on a private ridge with a peaceful feel, guests are a short drive from downtown Conway, restaurants, shopping, and the University of Central Arkansas. The location offers the best of both worlds — a quiet setting to unwind, with easy access to town when you’re ready to explore. This 700-square-foot geodesic dome (30 feet in diameter) is one of the largest domes in Arkansas. Thoughtfully designed this space offers a fun glamping experience that blends modern amenities with the magic of staying immersed in nature. The show-stopping centerpiece is a rare Boeing 747-200 jet engine cowling bed — a true conversation piece and the heart of the dome. Nearby, authentic first-class seats from a Boeing 767-300 create a unique dining and lounging area that feels like you’re flying at cruising altitude, minus the turbulence. Aviation artifacts throughout the dome tell real stories of flight history. The fuselage art and clock display comes from a Boeing 727-200 that once flew for Air France. A C1 stator from a JT8D jet engine that powered Pan Am’s 727 fleet adds another layer of authenticity. Even the coffee table carries history — crafted from a main landing gear wheel from a Boeing 727-200 Advanced. The dome includes a compact kitchen setup for a comfortable stay, including a countertop convection oven, hot plate, microwave, and a full set of dishes, pots, and pans. While fully insulated and equipped with three independent heating and cooling units for year-round comfort, the Aviator Dome retains the character of a true glamping experience — offering the comforts of home within a unique, outdoor-inspired setting. The skylight has been covered for temperature control. Outside, the experience continues on a spacious 500-square-foot private deck. Fire up the Pit Boss pellet grill for dinner, enjoy meals in the outdoor dining area, or gather around the propane fire table as the sun sets over the treetops. The Hot Spring Envoy hot tub — the largest model on the market — fits five adults comfortably and features two powerful Moto-Massage jets for ultimate relaxation under the stars. As night falls, the dome glows against the dark sky, offering incredible stargazing from the hot tub or deck and a peaceful, retreat-like atmosphere. While located just minutes from the conveniences of Conway, the setting still feels removed from the bustle of everyday life, making it easy to slow down and unwind. Guest access Guests have full, private access to The Aviator Dome and the 500-square-foot private deck, including the hot tub, propane fire table, pellet grill, and outdoor dining area. The dome is located on our private SkyEagle Ridge property. While our home is also on the property, guests have their own dedicated space with no shared amenities and complete privacy during their stay. Parking is provided on-site, and access to the dome is fully contactless. The Aviator Dome is located on a private property. Our home is also on the property, and the private access road in front of the dome may be used occasionally by guests staying in our other accommodations. There are no shared amenities, and guest areas remain private. Other things to note • No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed at any time. This includes unapproved visitors. Visitors may be allowed only with prior approval from the host and must leave by quiet hours. Violation of this rule may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. • Guests are expected to review and follow all House Rules prior to and during their stay. • Prior to arrival, guests will receive YouTube video links with check-in instructions and guidance on operating and using all amenities. These videos are an important part of the guest experience and should be reviewed upon arrival. • The Aviator Dome is located on a private property. Guests will drive past our home when entering the property—please continue straight past the house and take the left turn to reach the dome. The access road may be used occasionally by guests staying in our other accommodations; however, there are no shared amenities, and all guest areas remain private. Our driveways are gravel and some areas are steep. • This is a geodesic dome structure. The dome is fully insulated and equipped with three separate heating and air-conditioning units, along with a portable heater and fan to support climate control. In extreme hot or cold conditions, it may be more difficult to maintain a perfectly consistent indoor temperature. However, this is a glamping experience. Guests may also notice natural sounds such as wind or rain, which are a normal part of the dome experience. • The main living area receives a significant amount of natural light due to the dome design and front-facing windows. A curtain is provided on the main front window for privacy. For guests who prefer a darker sleeping space, a separate back bedroom is available. • The dome features authentic aviation artifacts, some of which are hand-polished through a labor-intensive process. Please avoid touching these pieces. Be mindful of jewelry and personal items, and avoid dragging or placing objects near them, as the surfaces can be easily damaged. • Please note that this property is not handicap accessible. There are several stairs required to enter the property, and the doorways are not designed to accommodate wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Guests who require handicap-accessible accommodations should not book this property. • Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Additional guest fees apply after the first 2 guests. • Pets are not allowed. Exceptions may be considered in certain circumstances with prior host approval and a $100 pet cleaning fee paid before arrival. Please contact the host for details before booking. • All rates are fixed and set in advance. Any available discounts for longer stays or specific dates are applied automatically. We do not negotiate pricing. • Food delivery services such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and others are available in the area and can deliver directly to the property. Many local restaurants in Conway offer delivery or pickup options, making it easy to enjoy a meal without leaving your retreat. Be sure to make note to pass our house and continue driving and take a left at the geodome so that your orders do not wind up at our porch. • Please note that our property is located in a dry county, meaning alcohol is not sold locally, however most nearby restaurants and bars in Conway do serve drinks.. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, but we recommend planning ahead and purchasing any wine, beer, or spirits before arriving in Conway.
