Description
Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. The beautifully adorned Victorian Era house features four boutique rooms and common areas. The AuSable and Manistee Rivers as well as many local lakes offer great swimming, boating and water activities in the spring, summer, and fall, while substantial winter snow makes for desirable cross-country skiing and snowmobiling conditions in and around Grayling. The space The AuSable room is bright and cozy. It features a king sized 4 posted bed and attached bathroom with shower. There is an AC unit and electric fireplace in this room for personalized temperature control. Guest access Our main level boasts a grand dining room and multiple sitting rooms for guests to gather or relax. Feel free to sit on our covered porch or play the baby grand piano. There is a shared fridge and microwave for guest use and coffee and tea service provided in the dining room. Other things to note Our bed and breakfast is non-traditional. Choose breakfast or brew: guests receive meal vouchers for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of our local partner restaurants - the Grayling Restaurant or Paddle Hard Brewing- for each day of their stay. The Grayling Restaurant is a top rated choice and local staple for diner breakfast. Paddle Hard Brewing is a fun, family oriented brewpub offering artisan pizzas and fun comfort food for lunch or dinner with food allergen modifications available. Both restaurants are within walking distance from the Hanson House. We find this allows our guests to visit local businesses to highlight the community experience during your stay in the Grayling area.
