Quaint cottage on the banks of the Cumberland River. On the grounds of the former home of Bluegrass Hall of Fame member John Hartford, writer of the song "Gentle on My Mind". Close to the city, but with a country feel. 8-12 minutes to The Grand Ole Opry, 12-16 minutes to Nissan Stadium, 16-20 minutes to Downtown. $12-$14 Uber fare to downtown - cheaper than parking. Convenient parking at the Cottage. Our goal is to make every guest feel special, and leave knowing they want to come back. The space Sunrises and sunsets can be spectacular. We try to treat our guests as we would want to be treated. If you want privacy, we give privacy. If you want Nashville suggestions, we offer suggestions. If you just want to talk.... well we love to talk. Here are some comments from our guests: You won't get a more authentic Nashville experience than this. The cottage is lovely, the views are amazing and you are staying at the home of a country music legend. Bob and Jayne are fantastic host... very responsive and helpful. True Southern hospitality. We had a fantastic stay. Bob went above and beyond to make sure our staying experience was a comfortable one! He had toiletries, snacks, and breakfast waiting for us upon arrival. He also spent the time to make sure we knew the good places to eat in the area. The sunrise was an unmissable experience as well - definitely worth waking up early for! Guest access You have full run of the Cottage, it is a stand alone structure. You have a front porch with seating and a small table. You have a small deck overlooking the Cumberland River with seating. The parking is right at your front door.
