Military Ridge Retreat

This Turn of the Century Farmhouse offers a glimpse of the past and the present, with space to make everyone feel comfortable and close access to many great features in the Driftless region of Wisconsin! Military Ridge Retreat was built on the Old Military Ridge Road in south west Wisconsin. The Farmhouse is 4 floors offering space for families and friends to spread out or all come together to make new memories. The space This farmhouse offers so much space for multiple families or groups of friends to spread out comfortably or come together to enjoy many activities! When you enter the front door, you are immediately in a large family area off the renovated kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked for the cooks, with an Island and dining bar. The family area has an 8 person dining table and large TV area. There is a deck off the kitchen which has stairs to the back yard and fire pit area. There is also a full bath and laundry area as well. The stairs beside the family area take you down to the finished basement which has a pool table, TV area, Queen sleeper sofa and full bath. There is outside access to the fire pit and deck stairs. Off the kitchen is the Dining Room with an additional table and chairs, half bath, 1st floor King Bedroom, Living Room, and then an additional Den area with another Queen sleeper sofa. Upstairs on the 2nd Floor, you will find 3 bedrooms and another full bath. There are 2 King rooms and a Double bunk (Full Bed down, Twin up). There is also a office work space at the end of the hall. this room has separate electric heat. On the 3rd floor, "the Loft", we have another TV area, with a full futon sofa and an additional twin bed. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the Loft as well! Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire house and surrounding yard. There are 2 old barns on the property that are unstable structures, so we ask all guests stay away from these. They are set off to the west and not right beside the house.
