The house has central heat and air conditioning and a mini-split heat pump/AC to make the second floor more comfortable. Parking available on the gravel driveway and cement parking pad for 3-4 cars. The beach is right outside the door so no need to go anywhere or pack anything up to enjoy a beach day on Lake Huron! Just 5 minutes away, downtown Au Gres offers a variety of restaurants, convenience store, post office, groceries, and our favorite Cauffee Espresso Bar and Bakery. Anchor Pub, about 1 mile away, offers food, drinks, outdoor patio on the weekends, live music most Saturdays at 8pm and trivia night on Wednesdays. IGA grocery store and pharmacy is only a 5 minute drive in Au Gres. Tube or Canoe down the Rifle River - Riverbend Campground and Canoe Rental in Omer is just a 15 minute drive Just a 20 minute drive north of Au Gres, East Tawas offers more shops, restaurants, boardwalk and an ice cream shop overlooking a public beach.
