Operated by WWF, the nature reserve with its typical windmills is a very important stopover site for many birds, particularly flamingos, on their migration from and to Africa. Surrounded by a well-tended, lush garden with lawn, the recently renovated villa offers an amazing infinity pool and spacious, panoramic terraces, which are ideal for dining al fresco and which enjoy lovely views of the surrounding landscape. Consisting of a main house and an annex, the villa features a bright, cosy interior. The main house includes a living room with fireplace and dining area, a kitchen, a further living room, five double bedrooms and five bathrooms. The close annex includes two further double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, sharing a kitchenette. Excellent base for exploring the charming surrounding area, Salinella is only a short drive away from the close beach of Marausa Lido and the old town centres of Trapani and Marsala. Among the places well worth a visit are also the medieval village of Erice, the temples of Segesta and Selinunte, the Egadi islands and the Zingaro nature reserve with the popular beach of San Vito Lo Capo.
