Welcome to "Pouso": for those looking for comfort, simplicity and a unique experience in a traditional Mongolian yurt, hidden away on a 4 hectare olive and cork farm. This tranquil and Romantic escape is surrounded by nature and the singing of birds, the tinkling of sheep bells and the gentle rustle of the cork oak leaves. Situated within the São Mamede Natural Park, from Pouso you can walk up a medieval track to the hilltop town of Marvão where "one can see the entire land" (José Saramago). The space Our 6 meter diameter yurt has a comfy double bed where you can gaze at hundreds of stars through the crown at night and hear the crickets lullaby and goat bells in the morning. There is a fully equipped kitchen attached to the yurt. A private shower and compost toilet with panoramic views of our olive trees. Come and enjoy the beautiful simplicity of life!
