Charming room in a peaceful home in Almonte

A peaceful home in the heart of historic Almonte (aka Mississippi Mills) You are sharing this home with the owner and one or two other travelers and a dog. Blocks from everything in this artsy town; fine dining, cafes, EV charging stations, hiking paths, kayak launch, antique shops, LCBO, library, 1800s churches, massage studios and spas, waterfalls, and boutiques. Quite street with driveway parking for peace of mind. When you enter the front door, your room(s) are on the right with a bathroom in the middle. I hope you feel welcome at home. I am usually at home and available if needed. Guests can enjoy the front half of the house including the covered front porch, living room, kitchen table and breakfast station. My personal space is in the back part of the house. Questions are welcome. I will leave you to enjoy your stay unless you would enjoy a chat or some local recomendations. Guest access Guests room(s) are at the front of the house, a shared bathroom divides the guest rooms. Feel welcome in the living room and dining area as well. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the quiet. Tea, coffee, juice and light breakfast nibbles will be be availabe for you to help yourself. My personal space is at the back of the house and out of the way. My dog will be in the home. He is friendly and will greet you if you call him over. During your stay I am usually home and available if you have any questions, want some local directions or want to chat a bit. Otherwise I leave you to yourself and to enjoy your privacy and time here. Other things to note On the left side of the property (facing the house) is a second driveway and a separate workshop. It is rented out to a friend and is not accessible to guests.
