Comes ready with 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and tub, period furniture and decor, wood stove and electric heat, and a 16 x 16 foot front deck with beautiful mountain views. This is your getaway for all types of winter and summer activities. The space HISTORY By the upper Brazos River in Northern New Mexico, at the base of the famous Brazos Cliffs, our cabin resides in a cabin community dating back to the 1930’s. The village began with the Brazos Lodge and 12 cabins, some which are still in use today. The area was incorporated in the 1960’s with lots being sold and cabins built over the years. Our cabin was built in 1974, from local materials acquired at the old mill in nearby Chama, NM and stone from the nearby quarry. Guest access entire cabin. Other things to note WINTER ADVISORY FOR WINTER BOOKINGS: Just a reminder that the Chama area regularly gets snow from December to March 1st, and although the cabin village is plowed regularly, we advise all guest to arrive in an all wheel drive vehicle or at least carry a set of chains for their stay in the valley. COVID INFO: We are practicing a rigorous program of cleaning and sanitizing at our cabin in conjunction with CDC guidelines. All surfaces prone to human contact are regularly sanitized, all bedding, dishware etc. are consistently rewashed and sanitized. The comfort and safety of our guest is our number one priority. Currently all cabin vacation rentals are allowed to operate in state of New Mexico. NO WIFI AT CABIN, but cell phones carriers, VERIZON and ATT work great at cabin, texting and internet, T-MOBILE 5G does not work! closest service is down hill 5 miles for T-MOBILE.
