Josephine's is a spacious King room with a private bathroom, large walk in shower, and a South facing view. 12 spacious guest rooms available: Rent one on your way through or take over the entire space for an event unique to your brand of fun! The space The Keady Family purchased the Historic Central Hotel in 2016 …. after it had been sitting empty and idle for over 20 years! In 2018, they reopened revealing 12 beautifully reimagined guest rooms in all… 7 of them now have a private en suite bathroom and 5 guest rooms have sinks in the room with access to two separate and private showers/toilets in the hallway. ALL rooms are on the 2nd floor and we do not have an elevator. Old building, but newly renovated. :) The Historic Central Hotel was originally finished & opened in 1929. The Ebar family had the Hotel built but the Urizar family ran it for the first 10 years. Cecelia Urizar was quite a woman from the stories we’ve heard... Think Bootlegger, ‘revenuers’, and feisty Bascos!! In the original design, all hotel rooms were on the second level. All 18 rooms shared access to 2 bathTUBS and 2 toilets. We hope you love the improved spaces! :) Guest access Guests will have access to the front lobby, the "living room" downstairs, and an inspiring patio behind the Central Hotel! Grab a book, play a game, sip a beverage, or just breathe in the high dessert air! There are no kitchens or TV's on property - we hope to encourage you to visit our neighbors, take in our downtown shops, food trucks, and connect! Other things to note You will enter the lobby through the White door on the front of the hotel. A unique key code for every guest gets you into the property as well as access your reserved guest room. Codes go live at 2p on the day of your arrival and expire at 10:30a on the day of departure.
