This room features Roberts E. Story: Cadmus McCall & T.B.Wilkes established the Nocona Leather Goods Co. in 1926, making leather accessories. When the Great Depression hit the industry, McCall hired his son-in-law, Roberts E. Story, to lead the company in a new direction. It flourished, manufacturing sporting equipment-everything from baseball gloves to leather football helmets. They became Nocona Athletic Goods--making the iconic Nokona baseball glove.
