Starlight Snug

On the top of Palomar mountain over a mile from sea level get snug and close to the stars and the peace and tranquillity of Palomar Mountain. Enjoy our unique cabin, just off Crestline Road, built originally in the 1930s but updated with all modern amenities and conveniences. Enjoy the log fire, the enclosed sun room, the deck with fire pit and BBQ., spacious cabin with open plan kitchen and living areas and two cozy bedrooms. The space The cabin was originally built in 1931 and sits on Crestline road on the top of Palomar. It is easily accessible off Crestline Road situated on more than an acre of wooded land. You can explore the property getting a hike and nature walk in without leaving home! There are other walks and hikes available close by, check out the cabin folder and more challenging hikes at the nearby state park. Palomar Observatory is close by as well as 3 casinos. 2 lakes and the western towns of Santa Ysabel and Julian. It has a cozy comfortable cabin vibe, with a stove fire and endless firewood! There is a large sunroom for spring, Summer and Fall and an inviting deck. There is a perfect spot of a weekend of peaceful Bliss. Guest access All of it except not the fire pit for fire safety and insurance reasons. Thank You Other things to note It occasionally snows on the mountain. Expect Crestline Road to be plowed but chains may be required. The driveway into the property is not plowed. If it’s a couple of inches you will need a 4 wheel drive to drive in, if it’s over a foot you’ll have a 3-400 yard hike in. There is one snow parking spot provided by the road.
