Driving Information: The property is accessed by a scenic gravel mountain road. Most standard vehicles can reach the cabin during normal weather conditions. We’re happy to answer any questions! Driving information: The cabin is accessed by a scenic gravel mountain road with several miles of winding, uneven terrain and inclines. Spring, Summer & Fall: Most standard vehicles, including sedans and compact cars, can reach the cabin in normal weather conditions. However, low-clearance or low-riding vehicles are not recommended. If you’re uncomfortable driving on gravel or mountain roads, an SUV or AWD vehicle may be a better option. November–March: A 4WD or AWD vehicle is required due to the possibility of snow and ice. Mountain weather can change quickly, so please plan accordingly and allow extra time to drive carefully, especially if you’re not accustomed to mountain roads. ❄️ WINTER TRAVEL NOTICE (November–March) 🚙 4WD/AWD REQUIRED during winter months. While some weekends may be dry, mountain weather can change quickly and cannot be predicted in advance. Please take this requirement seriously when booking during these months. For the remainder of the year, standard 2WD vehicles are generally fine. However, low-clearance or low-riding vehicles are not recommended, as this is a mountain road with gravel, inclines, and uneven terrain.
