Welcome to a newly renovated two bedroom cabin with all the modern conveniences and a hint of original 70s charm. Drive or boat in with room to park trucks and trailers, and two rustic docks to catch your limit from spring to fall. Starting with early ice, this is your luxury ice-fishing base camp and cozy retreat. It’s all here waiting for you! The space The Blue Moon Cabin’s unique 12-acre property is a mix of protected wetland, forest and spacious yard with a sunset view over the Tamarac River. You will have access to two private docks, one in your private lagoon and the other, down a short trail to the river. There is ample parking, outdoor storage and fish cleaning facilities (summer only), and a large fire pit with a picnic table and lawn chairs. Bring your toys and launch them at nearby resorts and public accesses. You will get to your cabin through our backyard drive on Steel Bridge Road, 1/2 mile off Highway #72 in Waskish. We know you will enjoy our modern, two bedroom cabin- built for comfort in all four seasons. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space as described. Boundaries are tree lined. If you wander too far into the forest you will meet your neighbors on two sides. The rest of the property is wetland and river shore. Your driveway, parking and boat/canoe/kayak dock are clearly marked. Other things to note Please remember that this property is near water, and in the Northwoods, so use caution and keep young children safe. Wildlife do appear from time to time, which is fabulous, but keeping food and garbage out of their reach is in everyone’s best interest. Don’t let the bugs bug you. Come prepared. Uneven and icy surfaces may exist, so watch your step. We are very close to parks, beaches and resorts, so explore and enjoy! That’s it!
