This quiet 2 bed, 1 bath home features Starlink high-speed internet, a chef’s kitchen, dedicated workspace, TV, and a relaxing front porch—perfect for focused work or a restful stay. The space Welcome to a quaint Trinity, Texas retreat! My house was built in 1936, part of what is known locally as Mill Town, a batch of houses built for the mill workers and the families of the Texas Longleaf Lumber Company. It features classic design of the era, 12’ ceilings and a most excellent porch. Situated beside the MKT Railway for ambiance, don’t worry the house’s vibration has survived 90 years of aforementioned ambiance. The conversation may pause on the front porch as the train passes but will strike right up again in the otherwise quiet idyllic neighborhood. The house has a style all its own, the vintage aesthetic reaches all rooms. Relax in the front room with full size sofas, under the fiddle leaf fig. Watch Netflix, and when you get bored gaze upon original artwork. In the well stocked kitchen your creativity can COOK! Or take that meat outside to the grill. Make yourself a coffee to drink in the garden or the front porch! The king size bed is well situated. The room has blackout curtains, extra bedding, cozy up and watch a movie from there as well! The second bedroom has a double bed. And the couches are great for sleeping too. Work on the go, with a Starlink connection and a desk! Don’t be limited by the desk, work from the dining room that sits six, or from the front porch! The bathroom is well appointed and will make you feel at home. Take a shower or a bath! Basic soaps and plenty of towels and washcloths. And a squatty potty for those that know! Full laundry setup with soap! Wash away! Just check them lint traps folks! Throughout the year the garden takes shape in different forms, lively perennials popping up in a mix of native and purposeful planted flowers. A fire pit in the backyard allows an ambience as long as there isn’t a burn ban. Guest access Access to the full property other than the auxiliary storage room which is locked. The room is a second bedroom containing the jetsam and flotsam of my life that will be cleaned forthwith and also be available for use by summer 2026. Other things to note There is a nearby railway that creates occasional noise. Earplugs are in the nightstand.
