Built in 2020, the cottage sits in Ontario's Algonquin region, close enough to nearby towns for groceries and a good meal, but far enough that you'll actually unwind. Bring the family or friends, there's room to spread out, a dock to jump off, and plenty of quiet to go around. The space Sunset Place comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, with three bedrooms and a den, each with queen beds plus 2.5 bathrooms across two spacious levels designed for relaxed lakeside living. Step onto the main floor and you’ll find a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, all framing breathtaking lake views. The kitchen is fully stocked, featuring an oversized fridge, a large range with gas burners and electric oven, island seating, and everything you need to cook up a feast. The dining area flows onto a large screened-in deck, where you can lounge by the fire table, enjoy meals outdoors, and take in the water's peaceful vista. The upper level: - 2 bedrooms with queen beds - A three-piece bathroom and a separate two-piece bathroom - Generous entryway with plenty of closet space Downstairs, the walk-out lower level offers a second spacious living area, perfect for spreading out or cozying up. There’s a beverage station with a bar fridge, sink, and Keurig to keep drinks and coffee handy. The lower level: - One bedroom with queen bed - A three-piece bathroom - Large family room - Den with queen bed - Covered deck with direct access to the water Outside, unwind in the BBQ hut, or gather around the fire pit on warm summer nights when local regulations allow. The real jewel of this place is the waterfront: 165 feet of private shoreline with clear, shallow water. The gradual, weed-free entry makes every swim easy, and the dock is complete with a stair system and boat lift for our boat enthusiasts Kamaniskeg Lake offers stunning forested views, great fishing, and nearly 90 km of lock-free boating to explore. A free public launch is just five minutes away. Fishers will love the bass, pickerel, trout, and pike that call this lake home. For fun, there are two single kayaks, one canoe, indoor and outdoor games, plus plenty of spots to find your perfect mix of sun and shade. All beds come made with scent-free fresh linens, pillows, and blankets. Bath towels are provided for your stay, but please remember to bring your own beach towels for outdoor use. There are some life jackets available, though you might want to bring your own for the best fit. Located on serene, quiet dead-end road, ideal for a peaceful stroll, bike ride or jog to start or end your day. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home and 1.5 acres of private property to enjoy during their stay. Other things to note Beds are fully made with fresh, scent-free linens, and we provide bath towels and basic toiletries. Please remember to pack your own beach towels to enjoy the waterfront. Life jackets are available on-site, though you may want to bring your own for the best fit. We supply a basic layout of coffee pods, so frequent coffee drinkers should bring extra pods/beans. Guests are also welcome to use the summer fire pit, subject to local fire rules.
