Built in 2020, this cottage in Ontario’s Algonquin region offers four separate private sleeping areas, room to spread out, and a dock for swimming and relaxing. Close to nearby towns, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. The space Sunset Place comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, with three bedrooms and a den, each with a queen bed, plus 2.5 bathrooms across two spacious levels. The main floor features a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area with beautiful lake views. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oversized fridge, gas cooktop, electric oven, island seating, and everything you need to cook. Step onto the screened-in deck to enjoy outdoor dining, lounge seating, and a fire table overlooking the water. The clear, shallow water and gradual entry make swimming easy, while the dock features stairs and a boat lift. Kamaniskeg Lake offers beautiful forested views, excellent fishing, and nearly 90 km of lock-free boating. A free public boat launch is just five minutes away. The lake is home to bass, pickerel, trout, and pike. Two single kayaks, a canoe, indoor and outdoor games, and plenty of sunny and shaded spots provide something for everyone. All beds are made with fresh, scent-free linens, pillows, and blankets. Bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Some life jackets are available, but bringing your own is recommended for the best fit. Located on a quiet dead-end road, ideal for a peaceful walk, bike ride, or jog to start or end your day. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home and 1.5 acres of private property to enjoy during their stay. Other things to note Beds are fully made with fresh, scent-free linens, and we provide bath towels and basic toiletries. Please remember to pack your own beach towels to enjoy the waterfront. Life jackets are available on-site, though you may want to bring your own for the best fit. We supply a basic layout of coffee pods, so frequent coffee drinkers should bring extra pods/beans. Guests are also welcome to use the summer fire pit, subject to local fire rules.
