The space This cottage is available for peak summer stays in July and August, when Lake of Bays is at its best — long lake days, dock time, campfires, and sunset dinners in the gazebo. Booking format: 7-night minimum, Friday-to-Friday turnovers. (So you get a full, classic cottage week — the best kind.) Sleeping - Bedroom 1: King bed - Bedroom 2: Double bed - Bedroom 3: Queen bed - Bunkie: Queen bed (additional sleeping space) Waterfront & outdoor living Step outside to 244 feet of Lake of Bays frontage in Little Trading Bay — with calm water views, beautiful shoreline, and multiple spots to settle in: Dock for swimming and lounging Campfire area for starry nights Gazebo with dining for lakeside meals Gorgeous landscaped grounds and pathways (and yes, the moose lives out there, perfect for iconic Muskoka family pictures! ) Walkable Dorset access (rare perk!) One of the best parts of this location: you can walk, kayak, or boat right into Dorset for ice cream, essentials, and small-town fun. Pizza on Earth is in walking distance for wood-fired pizza, and the Dorset Lookout Tower trails are directly across the street for exploring. Boat launch + trailer-friendly The public boat launch is a 1-minute drive at Dorset Parkette, and there’s lots of parking with space for a trailer.
