Cozy Log Cabin on Lush 45 Acres with Private Lake!

This unique 3-bedroom log cabin sitting on 45 acres with a private lake beckons you to settle in and make yourself at home. This cabin offers year-round adventures; great fishing, canoeing, swimming and ice skating. The space As you turn off the road onto the gravel driveway, you will immediately feel the magic of the lush woods that make up the property. The tall trees make a forest canopy as you drive towards the house. Parking is easy and there is plenty of space for three cars. You’ll need to go up 7 steps to enter the house through the patio that overlooks the lake. Once inside, there is a living room with wood burning stove that heats the whole house. The first floor also has a bedroom (full), bathroom with vintage tub and shower, and the kitchen (no microwave or dishwasher). On the second floor there are two more bedrooms including one queen bed and in the bunk room, there are two twin beds and a bunk bed. Throughout the house there is a mixture of art and books left from previous owners from another time, mixed with modern books, children’s books and lots of games. Eat meals on the patio or spend the weekend working on a puzzle and sipping coffee. There are two vintage canoes and plenty of life jackets. There are beautiful private trails with little surprises along the way, a large fire pit for s’mores, daring cooks and storytellers, and a simple charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid). There is good wifi, but no television, not that you’ll miss it! Enjoy our little piece of heaven. @lady_of_the_woods_lakehouse_ny Guest access You’ll have access to the whole cabin (and 45 acres of hike-able land and trails!), but we ask that our guests watch children carefully, and take care around the wood burning stove and in the basement where we keep tools and supplies. Other things to note *******please plan on bringing your garbage and recycling home with you as we do not have service and our cleaner can not bring garbage in her car. The lake house is our family’s retreat that we are excited to share with other nature lovers. It is really important to us that our guests respect the land and our neighbors who are like family to us. The property is by design, in the middle of mother nature. There are a few modern upgrades, but you will come across plenty of bugs, poison ivy, roots and trees down in the paths, and wild animals. During hunting seasons, you may hear gunshots from adjacent properties (there is no hunting permitted on our property).
