While the cottage is completely private and separate, it is part of a working multigenerational family farm where you may see horses, goats, farm animals, and the beauty of everyday country life surrounding the property. Enjoy quiet mornings with coffee on the deck, evenings under the stars in the hot tub, and the unique charm of an authentic Rogue Valley farm stay experience. Other things to note This is a true country home, and part of its charm is the surrounding farm life. The bigger part of the multigenerational farm critters that may bark or call-out if guests are outside exploring this fenced-in property. The gaurdians dogs do work night shift, helping protect local livestock from predators. Being in rural Oregon means you’ll experience the natural sounds of the countryside—crickets at night, the occasional coyote call, roosters crowing in the morning, and donkeys braying from time to time. Many guests find these country sounds comforting and enjoy opening the windows to take in the natural “country lullabies.” However, if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping, we’ve got you covered. A sound machine is provided in each bedroom to ensure a comfortable and restful night. We want you to feel informed, comfortable, and ready to fully enjoy the peaceful rhythms of authentic country living.
