And if you didn't bring a boat, we have a pedal boat on premises for you to use to explore the waterways around Plantation Island. Wildlife viewing is exceptional right at the Hideaway. Guests often spot owls, giant woodpeckers, and herons, along with many other bird species. If you’re lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of dolphins, alligators, crocodiles, or even a snook cruising through the water out back.
