Enjoy peaceful lakefront mornings and still be close enough for Gulf Coast beach days, all in one affordable stay. Our 4,000-square-foot historic home sits on 1.25 serene acres overlooking the lake and city park and is ideal for: • Girls trips • Yoga or creative retreats • Church getaways • Families visiting loved ones in town • Small group gatherings With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, the home comfortably hosts small groups while offering plenty of space to spread out. **A Historic Home with Heart** Built in the Victorian era, this home is full of charm and character. You’ll notice original details, aged wood floors, tall windows, antique hardware with natural patina, and the occasional nostalgic creak underfoot. While the house is meticulously cleaned and thoughtfully cared for, she proudly shows her age — this is not a brand-new modern build, but a living piece of history. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. There are no televisions, allowing guests to unplug and enjoy the peaceful setting. Being directly on the lake on the Gulf Coast means you’ll see birds, squirrels, insects, and seasonal wildlife — all part of lake life. Close supervision is required indoors and outdoors. We do not provide cribs or baby equipment. We have plenty of parking available for boat or jet ski trailers. **About the Furnishings & Retreat Features** Please note that in addition to hosting vacation guests, our home also serves as a quilting and fiber arts retreat space. As part of this purpose, you’ll notice white Design Walls in the main living areas. These panels also function as sound-dampening features for retreat programming. These walls are permanently installed and are not removable. For the preservation of our historic home and retreat space, we kindly ask that guests do NOT touch, modify, or attempt to remove these panels for any reason. Our furnishings and décor have been thoughtfully selected to support both peaceful stays and creative gatherings, and we appreciate your care in treating the space with respect during your visit.
