While we are on 140-acres, it's easier to list the areas that ARE restricted from guests: 1. The Red Barn - please do not enter the barn. 2. The Creek - best to enjoy for the peace and serenity! Not so much for fishing, or swimming. It's too low and slow for that, and the jump to the water level can vary WIDELY throughout the year. 3. The Bridge - unfortunately for now, the bridge to accessing the other side of the property is off-limits. Other things to note The Quirky Things... The cabin is very old, older than most other structures in the county. It's been restored and brought up to today's standards, However a lot of the cabin is still original. The floorboards are original hand-sewn planks and therefore uneven. Guests should watch their step, and watch their head for low doors. A lot the wooden furniture have been made from the wood grown on the very land you're standing on! 💎HOUSE RULES💎 We want to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Please keep the following house rules in mind: ✔ Quiet Hours: We kindly ask that you observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. ✔ Smoke-Free Environment To preserve the historic integrity of our home, this is a 100% smoke-free property. This policy strictly includes cigarettes, vapes, and all THC products. Should smoking occur, a minimum $100 specialized restoration fee will be charged to cover the cost of professional ozone treatment and odor removal. ✔ Pet Policy To maintain a pristine environment for all guests, We do not allow pets. Unauthorized pets are strictly prohibited. A minimum $100 specialized cleaning fee will be applied to address any pet-related cleaning (including hair or sanitization). Additionally, guests are fully responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any items damaged by an unauthorized pet. ✔ Enjoy Your Stay We are thrilled to host you. We simply ask that you treat our historic home with the same care and respect as your own. Our goal is for you to have a truly unforgettable experience—enjoy your time in Arrington! ✔ Please be sure to keep most doors closed at all times to help with critters and air control. ✔ Please also be aware that fire is NOT our friend at the cabin! Please no candles, fireworks, smoking or vaping, or open flames of any kind around a house that's value is beyond measuring :) we've even had to convert all fireplaces to non-functioning for the safety of the home.
