Welcome to this sunny A-frame with adventure at your doorstep! This fully equipped, fully renovated chalet is just 5 minutes from Monarch Ski Resort and close to the Monarch Crest Trail and endless high-alpine trails. Historic downtown Salida is an easy 20-minute drive. Enjoy mountain sunshine from the south-facing porch, deck, and balcony. Perfect for all seasons, with nearby skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hot springs, and more. The space We recently remodeled this 3 story A-frame and hope you love it as much as we do! This private house sleeps 6 and contains all the comforts of home. It’s perfect for families, groups or couples to enjoy a Rocky Mountain getaway. The Space ✔️High speed lag-free starlink internet included. 3 bedrooms- one room offers a queen bed, sliding glass door to the deck, a TV and sitting area. The second bedroom has a cozy queen bed with a closet and chair. The third split-level floor has a queen bed, a full sized bed with a nook and toy box and access to the balcony. The layout of the house allows families to spread out and have space. Living room- offers comfortable couches with plenty of pillows and blankets, a 72” smart TV perfect for sports and movie nights, and a variety of board games for all ages. Kitchen- well stocked with all new appliances including fridge with freezer, oven with electric burners, microwave, dishwasher, ninja coffee maker, electric kettle, blender and crockpot. Dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, baking sheets and essential cooking tools are all available. Dining- standard height dining table with 6 chairs. Bathrooms- plenty of towels, toilet paper and hand soap are stocked in both bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer are located in the second floor bathroom. Laundry- brand new high capacity washer and dryer are available with free and clear laundry detergent. Outdoor patio- relax in Adirondack chairs, perfect for soaking up fresh mountain air and Colorado sunshine. In the evening, gather around the fire pit-complete with seating and s’mores sticks for a cozy night under the stars. ✔️Grill available Spring, Summer and Fall Historic downtown Salida, with its shops, restaurants, galleries and hot springs, is an easy 20 minute drive. The home is easily accessed year round from Hwy 50 and is tucked away into the peaceful mountain town of Garfield, offering both convenience and quiet. Inside, you’ll find modern comforts blended with classic alpine charm, making it the perfect Basecamp in any season. From your front door, enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, nearby hot springs and more. Whether you’re chasing powder days, summer trails or a cozy mountain escape, this chalet delivers year round mountain living at its best. Guest access The entire house is yours. There are 3 off street parking spaces in front of the house. Other things to note Guests must be able to climb stairs. Roads are plowed in the winter by the county however AWD or 4WD are still recommended. 2WD may work if you have new tires or snow chains. If there is a storm with more than 4" of snow, the driveway will be plowed. Cell and Internet Service- Cell service is not available however starlink internet is provided so be sure to turn on your wifi calling when you arrive and you'll be able to send and receive messages and phone calls.
