At Collier’s Hideout you’ll find everything you love about camping the wilderness, blended with comfort in a cozy furnished apartment. Enjoy hiking over 4 acres of private forest, and wind down with the sounds of ‘Mad Tom’ at a brook-side common area providing a Blackstone griddle in a screened in pavilion. Free campfire wood included with your stay so you can enjoy s’mores if you just can’t be pulled away from the peaceful serenity, then retire in comfort in a comfortable apartment. The space FACILITIES include: • 600 sq. ft studio apartment with private key code secure entrance • 2 queen Seeley beds • Full bath with large shower and heated floor • 55” flat screen, PS4 and WiFi • Propane gas fireplace • Refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, single plug-in burner, and toaster oven¬¬ • Full size washer and dryer • Pet friendly COMMON AREA: • 16’x16’ screened in pavilion and firepit next to brook, free campfire wood included • Gas grill, picnic table, etc. . 4+ acers of forest to hike • Garage parking for motorcycles (please make arrangements to use the garage in advance) Guest access Guests are allowed full access to the pavilion area and woods. Use of garage with advanced notice. Other things to note Looking for good places to eat? Haskells, a local bar and grill, is only one mile west of us on Rt 8. Further down Rt 8 west about 5 miles is the Ohio Tavern. Take Route 8 all the way west to Poland and turn south on Rt 28 for to find the Alamo, your hosts favorite for draft beer and great food. All of these places have good food and are open for lunches and dinner only.
