Description
Your river town basecamp in historic Fall City. Walk to coffee, restaurants, shopping, river access, and summer floating, then recharge in a relaxed, welcoming home—you’ll be the only Airbnb guest. Private bedroom and full bath, access to a spacious, fully stocked kitchen, and a massive covered deck with wood-burning fire. Ideal for couples, hiking, cycling, kayaking, mountain biking, and skiing at nearby Snoqualmie Pass. Lush yard with lawns, flowers, and trees. Peaceful, walkable location. The space This is a single-level rambler with an open, welcoming layout. The front door opens into a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area designed for gathering and relaxing. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, with a full dining table plus four stools at the island—plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable at the same time. Off the kitchen is the laundry room and access to the back deck. A sliding door near the dining area and French doors from the living space lead to the covered outdoor living area with wood-burning fire, BBQ, and a landscaped yard with lawn, flowers, and trees. The guest bedroom is the first room down the hallway from the entry and features a keypad/keycard lock for added privacy. Across the hall is your full bathroom. My office is next door, and at the end of the hall is my private bedroom and bathroom, which I use exclusively. The front door also uses a keypad for a smooth, keyless arrival experience. As a new Airbnb host, I’m committed to providing a high-quality, thoughtful stay. I’ve been using Airbnb as a guest since 2020 with an excellent track record, so I understand what makes a stay feel seamless, clean, and comfortable. I’ve also hosted long-term renters and regularly welcome guests into my home, so this isn’t my first time sharing space—I take hospitality seriously. Guest access You’ll have access to your bedroom and full bathroom, plus shared use of the kitchen, dining, and living areas. You’re also welcome to use the laundry room, the covered outdoor living space with wood-burning fire and BBQ, and the yard. The basement is a separate long-term rental and is not part of the Airbnb space. The downstairs renter uses the kitchen and passes through the main floor when coming and going, but the kitchen layout provides plenty of space for everyone. For guests who play hard outdoors, I’m happy to assist with using the hot water hose, pressure washer, boot dryers, or workshop space for light repairs—just let me know what you need and we’ll make it happen. An Echelon spin bike is available in the garage if you’d like to get a ride in. You’re welcome to log into your own account, or use mine to access a limited selection of prerecorded classes, scenic rides, or manual mode. Garage space for gear storage may be available upon request. If you’d like to keep moving during your stay, an Echelon spin bike is available in the garage. You’re welcome to log into your own account or use mine to access prerecorded classes, scenic rides, or manual mode. During your stay I work remotely and am home during the day most of the time, often in meetings, and usually out in the evenings. Whether I’m home or not, please text me if you need anything—I respond quickly. I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast and love helping guests make the most of their stay. If you want trail recommendations, river conditions, ski beta, mountain bike routes, or local hidden gems, I’m happy to share. If something urgent comes up while I’m away, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Other things to note This is a thoughtfully hosted, dog-friendly home with shared common areas. I live on-site and enjoy welcoming guests who are here to explore the valley and mountains. My beloved doggos are carefully managed during guest stays, and the downstairs renter also has a small dog. They're not allowed in the guest bedroom, and I work intentionally to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable. The home is professionally cleaned and maintained, and it does not have a “dog house” smell or heavy pet environment. If you prefer a completely dog-free home or have severe pet allergies, this may not be the ideal fit. Otherwise, most guests find the setup easy, clean, and unobtrusive. One off-street parking space is included. Additional street parking is available nearby. Quiet hours are observed in keeping with the peaceful Fall City atmosphere. I’m usually up early for work (from home) and am happy to be flexible—just communicate your plans. I look forward to hosting you here! Please feel free ti reach out with any questions.
