Located in the quaint community of Mayhill, this cabin is a stunning 17 mile drive away from the village of Cloudcroft. Whether you are looking for a basecamp for adventure or a comfortable place to unwind in style, this is your cabin. The space This 1970’s A-Frame is the perfect mix of nostalgia and modern conveniences. It’s nestled in a wonderful little neighborhood where it sits surrounded by the beauty of the Lincoln National Forest. The location is private and peaceful with absolutely gorgeous views. This home features two bedrooms upstairs as well as a sofa bed on the main floor. Your full bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living area are also located on the main level of the home. One of the A-Frame’s best features is undoubtedly the covered outdoor deck. It boasts spectacular views of the nearby mountains. It is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or relax and unwind next to the propane fire pit. Inside you will also find plenty of options for entertainment. There are two smart TV’s with Roku streaming and Bluetooth speakers for your viewing and listening pleasure. You will also find board games, puzzles, playing cards, word searches, crossword puzzles, and plenty of unique and interesting reading material. Should you find your adventures taking you outside there is a cornhole game set as well as a gas grill for cooking on. This charming little A-Frame has something to offer for everyone. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire home, inside and out. There is one closet on the main floor that is the owners supply closet and it will remain locked. The crawl space underneath the home will also be locked. Other things to note *Circuit breaker box located in the bathroom. *In winter months 4 wheel drive may be required to access the cabin. This is a mountain cabin and it does snow here. The roads are rock and gravel leading to the home with some steep spots. *We do not offer refunds due to weather. Mountain weather can be unpredictable so please come prepared. *Due to the layout of this A-Frame cabin the stairs that lead to the bedrooms upstairs are steep. Please make note of this especially if you have difficulty with ascending or descending stairs. *This cabin is not child proof. You are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of your children. *The A-Frame’s electrical circuits can get easily overloaded when too many appliances are running at the same time. This frequently trips the breaker. The breaker box is located in the bathroom behind the decorative wall hanging. *Do not unplug or tamper with the outdoor security cameras. If it is determined you have done so you will be charged a fee and be asked to leave immediately without any refund.
